Salmeen Haque graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2011.  She earned a Master’s in Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2013 and earned her law degree from Elon University School of Law in 2016.  Salmeen was admitted to practice law in Arkansas state courts in 2018.  She is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Western District of Arkansas.

After being admitted to practice law, Salmeen worked at the Center for Arkansas Legal Services as a staff attorney for two years, serving clients throughout southeast Arkansas.  She recently moved to Little Rock and joined the Law Firm of Wallace, Martin, Duke & Russell in 2020.  She is a member of the Arkansas Bar Association and the Arkansas Association of Women Lawyers (AAWL).

Salmeen is married to Dr. Mohammed U. Malik, a hospitalist at Conway Regional Medical Center.  The two enjoy hiking and traveling together.  Salmeen also has a passion for animal welfare and enjoys rescuing animals with her brother as part of his non-profit organization, Shizzy’s Wildcat Rescue.  They rescue animals from the entertainment industries, private ownership, and living situations that are not ideal for them.

Salmeen’s areas of practice: Family Law, Protective Orders, Social Security Disability, Wills & Trusts, Probate, Record Sealing, Contract Law, and Consumer Advocacy.
